The adult in-house programs include men's and ladies' doubles, mixed doubles, co-ed mixed doubles, and singles ladder. These programs are appropriate for players of all skill levels. They provide an excellent opportunity to meet and play with a variety of people.
All in-house program matches are played on the courts at Iroquois Park, and are played against other members of the Whitby Tennis Club.
The Ladies' Doubles house league plays on Tuesday evenings starting May 3, 2022 and running until September 27. The league plays in two one hour and 10 minute time slots: 6:20 to 7:30 and 7:30 to 8:40. Players do not necessarily play in the same time slot all season. Note: This league will not play on Tuesday August 9, 2022 during the National Bank (formerly Rogers) Cup. The league is played using a progressive format, therefore players sign up without partners. Our mixed doubles house league plays on Thursday evenings starting May 5, 2022, in three one hour and 20 minute time slots: 6:30 to 7:50, 7:50 to 9:10 and 9:10 to 10:30. Players do not necessarily play in the same division all season. Note: this league will not play on Thursday August 11, 2022 during the National Bank (formerly Rogers) Cup.
Participants play with the same partner all season. Priority will be given to players who sign up with a partner. If you sign up without a partner, we will try to match you up with an appropriate player, but there are no guarantees. The Co-ed Mixed Doubles house league plays on Wednesday evenings starting May 4, 2022, and runs until September 28. The league plays in two one hour and 15 minute time slots: 7:00 to 8:15 and 8:10 to 9:30. Players do not necessarily play in the same time slot all season. Note: This league will not play on Wednesday August 10, 2022 during the National Bank (formerly Rogers) Cup. The league is played using a progressive format, therefore players sign up without partners. The league is open to all skill levels. The rules of the league are similar to that of Ladies' and Mens' Doubles, except you play on courts together regardless of gender. That means you could have 3 women and one man on a court, or 3 men and one woman, or two of each, or 4 men, or 4 women.
